Please, everybody who is reading this, if you get paid back, let's hear about it. This is not about making Asif Zamir look bad, this is about reporting the truth. If Asif Zamir ends up paying everybody back, I want to be fair and post that.

That's fine, except I don't know who you are, so I can't really say if anybody has been paid back. Of the people I know who are owed money, nobody has received any money this year.
For all I know, you could be Asif Zamir claiming to be a victim.
I was the first to be paid back all of the money he owed me. I believe the only reasons were the Detective who was diligent in his efforts at forcing Asif to compensate what was owed to me plus the fact that I'm local and one of these days I WILL run into him. I know what he looks like and if given the opportunity will post his photo all over the net to let others know as well.
Is there a number we can reach the detective at? I'd given up on ever getting my money back ($2500!!!). I don't believe a word he says on his webpage. I spoke with him many, many, many times on the phone and the lies were many and convincing at the time (the truck with your shipment was in an accident, they shipped the wrong model, the shipment is delayed, my car was broken into...).
We're now in spring of 2010 and guess what... nothing. Seems his contact numbers are no longer in service. I hope his 'business' is also no longer in service.
Hi rob. He scammed me back in 2007. It was a lot of work. But back then, i found out his real address. A condo in Brampton/Mississauga. And threaten to show up. I spoke to the super of the building and she said he hadn't paid rent for 4 months or so and she was trying to get him out. I got his moms cell and her old work number. She worked for remax, and apparently scammed the office there for 20 or 40g's, I forget. So it's in his blood. After he realized how close i was getting, he refunded me $135 through interac email transfer. Then tried to do a partial paypal refund, but the full came through for $835. Then he asked me to refund him the overpayment. What nerve, after all the hassle and lies. I may be the only one to have gotten paid with interest though.
